Dear Travis County Republicans -
 
I would like to share with you information on the newly formed Travis Republican Advisory Council PAC (TRACPAC).  TRACPAC is an organization that was created by me with the sole mission of TRACPAC being "to enhance and promote a strong Republican presence in Travis County by providing experienced and operational support to candidates."
 
As you may be aware, the current climate for Republicans in Travis County is almost completely reactive.  Travis County Republicans have 3 of the elected positions to the Democrats 49 elected positions.  It is my opinion  that unless we put in place an organization that can honestly compete with the opposing Party, we will never have much of a chance to grow our numbers.  This is the reason I created TRACPAC.
 
TRACPAC became legitimate in March of 2006 to take on the task of becoming the operational entity for Travis County Republican candidates, supporters and volunteers.  As well, TRACPAC has pledged to work with the Travis County Republican Party (TCRP) in support of their activities.   TRACPAC has established 1800 square feet of fully-functioning operational office space and hired Mistie Davis, the Executive Director of the TCRP from 2000-2002, to serve as our full-time Executive Director.
 
As the Republican Travis County Commissioner in Precinct 3, I am committed to making sure that TRACPAC will help guarantee that the Republican presence in Travis County grows.
